Photographs demonstrating the original condition of some of the WW2 buildings at Twinwood Airfield at the time the current owners acquired the site.
The Control Tower was the first to be restored but others have followed as can be seen throughout this web site. Various displays now occupy some of these buildings and work is always ongoing to repair and renovate.
There are also other original buildings on the Twinwood Airfield site, all in various states of decay, some still currently unsafe for use and consequently inaccessible to the public. Regular visitors always notice how things have moved along. Work is almost continuous. Each year more of the site buildings are brought into useful condition and museum exhibits placed inside.
