Control Tower

The Control Tower at Twinwood Airfield has been restored from its original state by the current owners.

It currently houses the site shop, Glenn Miller display, an Art exhibition and the restored Control Room display overlooking the original airfield (now laid to crop).

The control room and other Control Tower displays have an open layout as if the occupants had just left for a few minutes.
During The Glenn Miller Festival the Tower is usually occupied by Living History RAF
re enactors who complete the picture.
There are other RAF related displays and of course there is a room dedicated to Glenn Miller
The ground floor includes an aviation art exhibition
Refreshments are available in the themed Officers Mess bar
